Take Advantage of Your Campus Art Museum

  • TOURS: Join us every Saturday for an informal tour of works on view in current exhibitions.  Dickinson students working at The Trout Gallery lead our public tours, and we welcome student participants.
  • OPENINGS: Check out our upcoming exhibition schedule for opening dates.  During our openings, The Gallery is open late and we offer appetizers, refreshments and informal art chats led by our student Museum Interpreters.  Bring your friends!
  • CUSTOM ART EVENINGS: Reserve a custom-art-evening for your campus club, team, or group.  The Trout Gallery will design an art-based evening tailored to the interests of your group.  Led by Trout Gallery Student Assistants, these evenings are designed as informal, social events that bring art, culture, and the interests of specific campus constituencies together for enrichment and understanding.  We offer two custom evenings per month.  Please email flaherth@dickinson.edu for availability and to discuss possibilities for your group.
  • TROUT STUDY DAYS: We ae here for you in your time of need!  During the week before finals each semester, The Trout Gallery offers Trout Study Days.  The Gallery is set up as a student study space, with tables, lighthing and power cords.  Free snacks, coffee and art therapy are available in the Education Center, and additional study areas are reserved in the Weiss Lobby.
  • STUDENT GALA: Each Spring The Trout Gallery hosts a celebration of the many contributions of our student staff to museum operations.  Join us for live music, refreshments, and specialty entertainment during an evening not to be missed.  Attendance at the Gala is capped at 250 and requires a reservation.  Trout Fans receive invitations before the event is opened to the larger Dickinson student community.  Each year's Gala theme will be announced in February.  Check out our Events page for details.
